Emma is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and holds a masters degree in the field. Her studies focused heavily on Lacanian and Freudian Psychoanalytic theory and practice, equipping her with a deep understanding of the unconscious mind.
During her Master’s program, Emma gained valuable clinical experience working in various settings such as educational, psychiatric and addiction. She offers a space for clients to explore any questions they might have and to speak freely about their suffering.
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy goes beyond the surface and explores the depths of the unconscious through speech. Rather than treating the symptom we work to understand and address the underlying issues. Emma takes a subjective approach to treatment. One size does not fit all and the treatment is tailored towards you.
Emma is a member of the Association of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapist Ireland (APPI) allowing her to stay connected with the wider Psychoanalytic community and uphold ethical standards in her practice.
Emma is dedicated to ongoing professional development. She is currently undertaking a post-master’s program at FLI (Freudian Lacanian Institute) to further refine her skills as a Psychoanalytic practitioner.
